About the founder: Roman Danylak



Short Biography:

Roman Danylak completed  PhD studies in Computation and Creativity, Human Computer Interaction Design, 2008, University of Technology, Sydney.

He specialises in Gesture and Emotion in Human Computer Interaction. 

He has presented his research at numerous international conferences including Sweden, Japan, France, Italy, USA, Germany, Czech Republic and UAE.

His work is attracting significant interest. 

  • Invited as speaker, Human Computer Interaction International Conference (HCII) Crete Greece
  • Invited to contribute a book chapter in  Digital Da Vinci  ed. Prof. Newton Lee ACM publication.   along with leading international design and creativity scholars;
  • Invited researcher by France’s CNRS prestigious national research institute.

Recent work:

  • Curriculum design for University of Stockholm; 
  • Tutor in the Faculty of Engineering and IT at UTS in Design Prototyping
  • Lecturer Philosophy of Ethics and Technology UTS
  • Designed curriculum for the Australian Film TV and Radio School (AFTRS);

Currently:  

  • IT consultant for Government Services, Canberra conducting Business Analysis, Qualitative User Research as Information Architect. 

He is an expert in the Semiotics (sign systems) of Computers.
